RMS Master Radiance Base

Dear Friends and Readers,

As the days get shorter, I find myself missing that summer sun glow on my face. Now I am not a big dewy, glow type gal, but I like to look a bit, sun kissed at times. RMS Master Radiance Base is the newest thing to get that shimmery sun look when the days become darker and cooler. Keep reading for more info.

Now I keep finding it hard to describe this product. On the RMS site it is described as a highlighter that blurs imperfections and creates a the ultimate glow. It reminds me a lot of Vapour’s Stratus Instant Skin Perfecter that they are no longer making. I think of it as a highlighter and blur product that goes under the skin, to give you a light blurred shimmer look. Now some people just wear this as a base , but I think for most women it would be waaaaay too much shimmer. Remember as we age, unless shimmer is put in the right places, it can (I think) have an aging effect. I think a light touch on the higher part of the cheek bones, and a bit on the forehead to blur any crease lines is a good place to start with this product.

Here is how I use it: first prep the skin with oil and/or moisturizer, then you can prime the skin with an actual primer (this step is optional). Next I either put my foundation on, and add this highlighter on top of my base, OR I add it prior to my base…and then blush and so on. Again a light touch is key when getting to know this product - see how much shimmer you like and then go for it. It does have a tendency to get solid in the jar, just roll it around on your palm to warm up the product. RMS Master Radiance Base…….$30.00 . Available in two colors.
