Perfecting You

How we age as women…..let’s Call it perfecting like a fine wine…rather than aging like leather.

 My hope is that through writing this blog the beauty industry will finally acknowledge the forgotten women: the woman of a certain age, and/or of color.

In yesteryear when our bodies began to change, our tribes or clans, would help guide us through the changing seasons of life from infancy to puberty, through motherhood, and finally into the latter stages of our lives. But since women lived shorter lives some 75 years ago, there was probably less knowledge about aging, coupled with the fact that there were also less environmental factors to contend with. Now we can share about what to expect, and help one another embrace with humor and joy the new normal.
