Vitamin C Serum

There has been a lot of discussion lately about Vitamin C and adding it in to our skin care routines. Some of you may ask why we need to add one more potion to our faces – especially since over the years many of us have streamlined our regimes to help us in getting out the door faster.

Well I can only speak for myself – but lately I have found that my skin seems to lack the vitality and brightness it once had. Why? As we age our collagen or elasticity seems to break down, and we are unable to repair the damage quickly that is being done daily by the sun and other pollutants in our environment. Vitamin C can also help with filling in the fine lines and wrinkles as well . The other task that this vitamin is able to do is lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots, by evening out the skin tone. And lastly it provides hydration to thirsty skin.

Bring on the Vitamin C!!

I am currently using Ursa Major Brighten Up Vitamin C Serum. I really like this bottle of sunshine. My skin looks healthy, and younger, and I don’t notice my sun spots on my forhead nearly as much. The husband and wife duo behind this Vermont based company pride ithemselves on having a gender-neutral skincare line and their emphasis is about making consumers switch to a more plant powered skincare regime. A quote on why they chose the name of the company says: “Ursa Major (the ‘Great Bear’ in Latin) is the largest visible constellation in the northern sky and has long been used to find True North. To us, it’s a powerful reminder to follow your inner compass and forge your own path in life.’

Well said.
