Lisa Bonet - Boho Chic

One of my favorite people to follow online is Lisa Bonet. A boho chic reminder of gentler days gone by when she captured our hearts playing a young, quirky Denise Huxtable on ‘The Cosby’ show and later on “A Different World”; Lisa Bonet has always had a ‘go your own way’ attitude;  so it is no wonder that her skin care regime and unconventional  lifestyle have continually garnered interest online – especially from her legions of fans – like me!

What has set Lisa Bonet apart from the crowd , is that way back in the 80’s and 90’s when she appeared on The Donahue Show with River Phoenix and Raul Julia (are any of these names ringing a bell? – if so, then you are definitely a Gen X’er), she was cognizant of our carbon foot print on the earth and  was promoting a vegetarian lifestyle for her new baby Zoe and then husband Lenny Kravitz. While on Donahue she talked about our polluted  oceans and overtaxed planet – Wow! To be so cognizant at 19 when the rest of us have taken decades to learn most of this stuff – myself included. And did I mention she has practiced yoga for decades?

At 52 Lisa Bonet (or as she goes by Lilakoi Moon) is still quite the beautiful women. Whether it is from her vegetarian lifestyle, her good genes, or her liberal use of coconut oil as a moisturizer for her skin and hair – who knows? I do know from a recent article published in The New York Times that she firmly believes in turning over the skin’s cells and in that vein uses a number of products that will give her smooth and luminous skin. Like many people, Bonet uses products that are both green and non and in that vein, credits Living Libations for their work on breast health and for their lovely essential oils to make her smell good.

Maybe Ms Bonet is what feeling secure and healthy in your skin, and with your choices, looks and sounds like.

Ladies and Gentleman:Lisa Bonet.
